Goodbye Gimmicks, Hello Lower Prices!

The new trend in home sales is price cutting! - Now that the tax credits have expired, and many things that have to be used as intensives to sell homes in the past have been deemed illegal, (to discourage bad mortgages) the new trend in attracting buyers is to have a competitive price on your home.

Alot more people have learned to be frugal during these tough economic times and that translates into purchasing a home also. People have decided BIG isn't always better, and they want to make sure they are getting the most for their money! Wise investments instead of large investments, and more long term investing instead of buying properties they hope to turn over quickly.

We could say it a hundred different ways, but instead we will let you read this very informative article from the Tacoma News Tribune: Home sellers rely less on gimmicks, more on price cuts | Real Estate - The News Tribune

Please remember us if you or someone you know would like to buy or sell a home! We are always more than happy to meet with you and come up with a plan of action!

  1. This type of pricing strategy for sellers only offer false hopes. In a down market as many buyers will not even consider offering something at the top of the range. No many.Regardless any price range for the market for a home buyer a good agent will set the point value of a buyer's market. A better bet is the dealer price your home correctly and are not based on prices of gadgets.
